Creamy corn soup: easy, comfy soup

I always believe that cooking doesn't have to be hard or complex, good and delicious food is easier than you think.




That's why, I have a lot of easy recipes in my blog, haha. I know that you need challenge in life but when there are a load of things to do (or must do), this kind of recipe is a lifesaver. 
You don't need many ingredients for this comfort and delicious soup, with less than 20 minutes (most of the time is letting the soup simmering), and you will be rewarded with sweet and yummy bowl of soup.
I didn't add chicken bouillon into the soup because I want it to have sweetness from onion and cream corn but you can add 1/2- 1 of the bouillon to make it taste more savory ^^. This soup can be serve both warm and cold, it's delicious in both way.

Creamy corn soup
Serve 4 



560g ................................ Cream style golden corn (1 can)
360ml .............................. Milk
90g .................................. Onion, finely chopped
2tsp ................................. Butter 
......................................... Salt and pepper



 Place a 18cm saucepan over low heat.
Put the butter into the pan, when the butter melt put the onion into the pan, and cook until soften (don't let it colored).


 Pour the cream corn into the pan with milk, stir to mix.


 Let the mixture boil.
 Cover with a lid and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper.
Remove from the heat and puree until smooth.

 No corn kernel left.
 Place over the heat to boil it again.


Serve it warm or let it cool and serve as a cup of cold soup is delicious too.
