RED VELVET BROWNIES

I don't know why I can't have enough time ^^, maybe I want to do so many things in everyday, and it makes me so exhausted!


Reading book (cookbooks, manga, and novels), playing game, shooting and editing videos, taking and editing photos, baking, cooking, watching (anime, event, concert and special show), writing blog, I don't think I can find free time, haha. Waking up with an idea of what I want to do, sleeping with Playstation Vita in one hand, I'm so happy with my life. 
But the only thing is, I still want to do so many things more!!!!!!
This morning, when I wake up I rushed into the kitchen, and turned on the oven, I really wanted to make this brownie. Well if you think that brownie has to be chocolate rich, you may ask me, it's not a brownie? But it's a kind of bar cookie with chocolate taste, so I don't think that I'm wrong, hehe.
The color of the brownie comes from red food coloring and yes, if you don't want to use it, it's "OK", with white color cream cheese frosting, the contrast of the color as color makes the brownie so cute, but it's not effecting the taste.
The baking time can be varies, as this brownie contains so much liquid, so checking after 25 minutes is required.
Serve this cute bar cookies with a cup of milk, coffee or tea, it's great for giving too.

RED VELVET BROWNIES
Makes 20x20cm 


Brownies
60ml ................ Milk
1/2tsp ............... Vinegar
130g ................. All purpose flour
16g ................... Cocoa powder
1/2tsp ................ Baking soda
115g .................. Unsalted butter, soft
1/4tsp ................ Salt
190g .................. Granulated sugar
1 ......................... Egg
1/2tsp .................. Vanilla extract
100 ml ................. Water
............................. Red food coloring

Cream cheese frosting
110g .................... Cream cheese, soft
1/2tsp .................. Vanilla extract
............................. Pinch of Salt
20g ....................... Unsalted butter, soft
70g ....................... Icing sugar





Preheat an oven to 180C.
Line 20x20cm cake pan with baking paper.


Mix milk and vinegar together, and set aside.


Sift flour, baking soda and cocoa powder together and set aside.


Beat the butter with salt until smooth.
Pour the sugar into the bowl and beat until fully combine.


Put egg and vanilla into the bowl and beat until smooth.


Pour half of the sifted flour mixture into the bowl and beat until combine.


Pour water, milk and vinegar mixture and food coloring into the bowl and beat until combine.


Pour the rest of the flour into the bowl.


Fold to combine.


Pour into the prepared pan.


Bake for 27-32 minutes or until the top spring back when touch lightly.
Let it cool completely on a wire rack.


Beat the cream cheese until smooth, add salt, vanilla and butter and beat until fully combine.
Pour the icing sugar into the bowl and beat until smooth.


Spread the frosting over the brownie and cut into pieces, and enjoy!
